Eric Zimmerman, a fifth grader at Robert Seaman Elementary School, won first place for his essay on Ronald Reagan in The Great President’s Day Essay Contest. The contest is co-sponsored by Raynham Hall Museum and the Daughters of the American Revolution. The contest, which is held annually, asked the students to write a one-page essay about their favorite president, including facts, accomplishments, and admirable characteristics about that president.
